*What was the most interesting fact you learned from this article?

K:The most interesting fact I learned from this article was tiny bubbles of air inside the ice give them their white color. And there are more colors then I thought that icebergs would have. For instance, there are brown, black, yellow and green. That's amazing!

*Are you interested in how icebergs affect sea life?  Why or why not?

K: I afraid I don't have any interst in it. Because I have never ever thought that before. It didn't stimulated my interest.

Scarlet Heart

Scarlet Heart a.k.a Bu Bu Jing Xin is a Chinese television series. It's a story about a young woman from 21 centry suffering a car accident that send her back in time to the Qing Dynasty during Kangxi Emperor's reign.

It all happened on that day, one of the days I finished my study. I heard my mom was watching TV and I was curious about what she was watching. So, I went to the living room, picking a seat next to her. Again! Another Chinese series, I thought. But  I didn't walk away because I really needed a rest after studying for such a long time. I asked my mom what was the tittle of these TV series. She said Bu Bu Jing Xin. I thought these must be boring because the name didn't sound appealing to me. Well, it taught me something- you can't judge a book by it's cover. To my surprise, only did watch it for a few minutes, then I completely fell in love with it. The dialogues were so funny and poetic. I was deeply attracted not only by the casts but also the story. These story stimulated my interest in traditional Chinese poems and the history of that period.

Bu Bu Jing xin really changed my life. Before, I hated Chinese. I thought it was boring, complicated and it drove me crazy. But now, I'm so much overwhelmed by it. Any word in the poem has its own meaning. Even though those poems were written dating back to the ancient times, they could still arouse my ultimate feelings and imaginations now. "Treasure the person around you"--I think this is what the series want to express. I'm so thankful that my mom was watching Bu Bu Jing xin then, otherwise I might have missed so many great things in the meanwhile.

Studio Classroom April 7th- Talk about it

                *Do you eat a lot of sugar? Why or why not?

                 K:Sometimes if I really feel stressed, I will eat lots and lots of sugar. But the magazine said that women eat no more than 25 grams of sugar per day. That's not much! I think I eat more than 25 grams just for breakfast. Oh my! I should monitor the amount of sugar in my diet.

*How do you rate yourself: a good or bad decision-maker?

Does decision fatigue play a role in your choices?Explain

K: I'm sure that I'm definitinely a good decision-maker.

Well, sometimes if I'm too tired my decision fatigue play a role in my choices.

 But most of the time I'm a good decision-maker.

Because I know what I want and What I really need.

*Describe your level of willpower when faced with temptation.give a recent example.

K:Recently, my willpower is super low....Chinese series and food are my major temptations.

Usaully, my willpower is ok. Still,it has to see it depents on what.

Studio Classroom April 4th-Talk about it

* Do you prefer a vacation in the city or in the country? Why?

Kate(me): Well, I prefer a vacation in the city. Because it's the fastest way to get to know a country. Traveling in the city is more convenient, also if you really like the city you'll come back. So, the next time you visit here you can visit the country.

* Which activity at the festival would you like to do the most? Why?

K: If the festival has some food to eat, I would say I like to taste some interesting food. Because I love eating.

* Are you interested in history and  musuems? Why or why not?

K: Yes, I love it! Because it's a way to know more about a country or a culture.
